on story mode how come i got to the buu saga so fast i dident even fight cell with gohan ssj 2??? i berly started and now im in buu saga all i been useing is goku? is this how it is pose to be?

I cannot decide which one to get. The only one i have played is Dragon Ball Z Budokai. Another question also…What is the difference between the Budokai games and the Budokai Tenkaichi games? I only care about the stories of the games. I would like to pick up right after where Budokai ended (Gohan defeats Perfect Cell) and all the way up to the Buu Saga. Maybe even going into GT. But i don’t know the story lines of the games. So please help.
