no. Dragonball z’s style is totally not right for that. Toriyama has a very 2d style.
That’s exactly what I’m saying.
I believe that they should remake the entire thing using the same engine used to make Final Fantasy: Advent Children. The new anime graphics that have been used recently are top notch kick ass. I’ve seen Resident Evil: degeneration and they almost looked like real ppl. They should regraphic this entire thing with CGI.

It was just a translation error.
Ocean Dub translated it as 9000. Funimation just kept it like that. Probably due to the meme, but I could just be wrong.
Yea, just like in the manga…i’ve always wondered why they changed it from 8000, to 9000 :S

The over 9000 thing was only for the American version of DBZ.
Original(Japanese) was 8000.
